Orchestra or Solo?

Tempera Rosin is available in two versions, depending on your playing context and preference:

  • Orchestra: Stickier and grippier, this version emphasizes the attack and produces a strong “pop” at the start of each note. Ideal for orchestral playing where articulation and projection are key.
  • Solo: Designed to sound open and rich in overtones, even with generous application. It produces less surface noise and offers more tonal colors, making it perfect for solo repertoire or players who want a more refined sound.

Both versions work beautifully with Tempera Strings—it just depends on what you want to bring out in your sound.
